UNCLE TONY

Eleven minute documentary tells the story of the Rosendale Theatre in the Hudson River valley north of New York City. Started as an independent movie house by a family of Italian stonemasons in 1949, it was saved from developers by a community collective. Now in his eighties, Uncle Tony Cacchio continues to work at the theater even though 35mm projectors have gone silent in favor of digital projection. Shot and edited by Robert Clem and produced by Susan Einhorn.
